Holi Festival

£19.99

The annual festival of Holi is celebrated by Hindus around the world, to mark the arrival of Spring, with dancing in the streets and throwing colourful powder with abandon.

Each colour holds special significance. Red dye symbolises love, fertility, and matrimony. Blue represents Krishna, yellow is for happiness, while green stands for new beginnings. Purple is the colour of supreme peace and pink symbolises youth, good health, and playfulness.

Holi celebrations serve as a reminder of the triumph of good over evil, reflecting the Hindu belief that faith and devotion leads to salvation that can be attained by everyone who believes.
